The hotel is close to the main attractions which is a plus. the rooms are quite gloomy and lack natural light. the bathroom facilities could also do with some improvement. But, the hotel has a nice pool that is great for kids and the staff are friendly.
The hotel's location is not convenient for solo travelers who want to explore the city.

The pool and garden were nice and well-maintained. Also, the food was decent. The location was convenient for exploring nearby sites.
The staff was pushy and too eager to sell us tours and activities. The rooms were not as clean as they should have been. the hotel felt overpriced for what it offered.

I had an amazing stay at a hotel in this city. From the cleanliness of the hotel to the friendly staff, everything was just perfect. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a beautiful pool and terrace, and they even provided cycles to explore the nearby area. The breakfast was delicious with a Sri Lankan touch, and the location was ideal for accessing cultural and archaeological sites.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The staff were amazing, super helpful and very friendly. the food was delicious with many different options to choose from. the pool was a great place to relax and enjoy the hot sunny days.
It's worth noting that the hotel was a bit far from the town, but the peacefulness of the location was worth the extra distance. having your own transportation would definitely make getting around easier.
